About LORAC...

founder and president, Ken Reynolds has earned his outstanding

Industry experience,

Colleagues,
My career in the furnace business began in a technical capacity
with
BTU Engineering in 1968. I spent many of my 17 years
with them as
the head of their West Coast operations,
with responsibilities for both
Sales and Service.
Later, I was with Watkins-Johnson, when, as it turned out,
fortunately for me, they decided to "downsize" their
*continuous furnace
business*.
LORAC was established shortly thereafter.
Initially, we were involved exclusively with providing
on-site field
service for my former BTU and W-J customers.
Many of which, are still
LORAC clients, today!
I
continue to enjoy providing on-site solutions for our customers.
I am
especially fond of opportunities that allow me
to
conduct Furnace
Training.
Our
Furnace Seminars are a fantastic
investment
which will pay dividends in countless ways
for many years to
come!
We are always happy to help a client repair an existing furnace.
Quite
often an existing furnace is fully functional, except
it has controller
issues and BTU, LINDBERG, RTC
or W-J/MRL has said their system
is
“OBSOLETE & NON REPAIRABLE”!!

controller retrofit that is surprisingly affordable! Why not
simply change the controls, instead of the furnace! You certainly should
not reward the firm that will not support their existing equipment with
an order for another furnace!

CROSS-BELT TEMPERATURE NON-UNIFORMITY PROBLEMS
are often correctable by adjusting the profile dynamics. If you can
use twice the belt space, you can double your production!!!

PRODUCT EXIT TEMPERATURE CAN BE REDUCED! There are tremendous new ideas
in exit muffle design. Convection is not just for heating printed
circuit boards anymore; wait until you see what it can do to help remove the heat
from your product. The result means higher belt
speed and increased production!!!

SOLAR
CELL FIRING FURNACES now run at speeds up to 180 inches per minute!!!!
Why not change the drive system components instead of the furnace???? If
the original equipment manufacturers will not help you get up to speed;

repairs and improvements to existing equipment are not enough, please go

Inventory Listings which describe
the furnaces in various categories, which are currently available for
sale. This is equipment has been brought to our warehouse in Phoenix
where it is reconditioned, restore to as close to like-new condition as
possible and thoroughly tested. Our equipment is always available for
demonstration prior to shipment and we completely guarantee everything
we sell to be fully operational for 30 days, from delivery!
